Healing Emotional Over-Eating: A Compassionate Approach

Hi all. Exciting news! I’m teaming up with Registered Dietician Ruth Goldstein to present a workshop focused on approaching the physiological and mental health components of emotional overeating from a place of self-compassion. This workshop is for anyone struggling to make peace with their relationship to food, eating, and their bodies, and will resonate with anyone that has struggled with emotional over-eating.

Coming from both nutritional and therapeutic perspectives, the workshop aims to equip participants with practical strategies and techniques to cope with/manage/take care of emotional over-eating, while providing a gentle, compassionate lens through which to view and understand the behavior. Themes of stress management, nutritional balance, shame and self-worth, and coping skills are all examined as they relate to this very common, often demonized behavior.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, March 30th, from 9:30am – 12:00pm in the Roxbury Conference Room at the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship in Keene, New Hampshire. The fee for the 2.5 hour workshop is $70.

Any and all are welcome. Registration is required; please email me at dana@danalicsw.com to register. Space is limited, so register early!

Ruth and I would love to have you! Please feel free to email me with any questions!
