Dana Belletiere, LICSW, MSED
I’m Dana – an online therapist with a focus on helping clients live authentic, empowered, intentional lives.
I am a licensed therapist with significant experience in the field. I received my Master’s in Education in Human Development in 2004, and my Master’s in Social Work in 2014, both from the University of Pennsylvania. I have worked in a wide variety of mental health settings since 2001, including hospitals, schools, residential treatment facilities, partial and IOP programs, and group and individual private practices. Within these contexts, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a wide variety of mental health concerns.
I take an integrated, multifaceted approach to mental health and wellness, drawing from my education, my years of experience in the mental health field, and specialized trainings. I primarily operate from Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic, and Narrative treatment modalities. When appropriate, I sometimes incorporate CBT and DBT interventions and strategies.
Utilizing a style that is both direct and compassionate, I meet clients as they are, where they are, to work toward the goals that they identify for themselves. I began practicing online therapy last year, and have found it to be an excellent tool to serve clients from the comfort of their homes. As my practice began to self-select to include young professionals and college students, I chose to pursue online therapy as my main treatment modality to allow myself to serve a wider area and focus on clientele that benefit from my unique treatment approach and areas of specialization.
I am licensed to provide therapy to clients in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
